DR NATALIE PHOON
Dr. Natalie Phoon completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (Honours) in University College Cork, Ireland and has since been treating patients in private practice. As a general dentist, she is fully proficient in a wide range of procedures including surgical and restorative work, aesthetic dentistry, implantology, root canal therapy and gum therapy. She is also known to be gentle and patient with the many children and special needs patients she has seen and treated. During her studies, she developed a keen interest in aesthetic restorative dentistry and has won multiple awards in the field, including the J Creaven Prize in Restorative Dentistry (2014) and the Dr. H H Stewart Scholarship in Dentistry (2013). Beyond this, she has also trained in Digital Dentistry and has embedded it within her practice to deliver highly precise and efficient treatments for her patients.
Dr Phoon also practices biomimetic dentistry, which is the concept of conserving as much tooth structure as possible, while keeping them strong and sealing them from bacterial advancement. This approach to dentistry ensures that materials placed in the mouth replicate the natural tooth structure and allow teeth to last as long as possible. During her consultations with her patients, she seeks to understand not only the dental health of her patients but also their holistic health and educates patients about how dental and physical health are inherently entertwined. Hence she strongly believes in the importance of and oral health education and focuses on educating her patients and the community about preventative dental care through her practice.
Dr Phoon is trained in aligner therapy and is an Invisalign Certified Provider as well as a Vincismile Certified Provider. She has also undergone advanced courses run by Osstem AIC to advance her knowledge in implant dentistry to allow her to provide the best for her patients.
